Myofascial Release Workshop

Ballard: Sunday, June 9th

In this therapeutic workshop, we will be utilizing myofascial release (MFR) techniques to help alleviate tension, relax the body, and calm the mind. MFR is a safe and effective self-massage technique that targets the muscles and fascial system (connective tissue that encases our muscles, bones, and joints). Using therapy balls, we'll target the more common problem areas of the body to help reduce pain and restore range of motion.

In preparation for the Pride Deadlift Party, we are offering a 5 week Deadlifting 101 series with Coach Ollie 😜! This class is going to be a combination of learning about the barbell deadlift if you are newer to the movement and it will also contain some more technical details if you are more experienced. You don't have to sign up for Pride Pull-A-Palooza do participate in this workshop! This is also a great entry into training the barbell deadlift more regularly.

Monthly New Moon Sound Bath

Ballard: June 8th, July 6th

4:30-6:00 PM

Join us once a month for our New Moon monthly sonic reset with coach Ally Parks, a certified Level II Sound Healer. Soothe your mind, body and senses with a deeply relaxing sound bath.

This event takes place each month on the Saturday closest to the new moon. This sound bath is intended to help you release stuck emotion accrued from this past astrological year in preparation for the start of the next one. 

Intro to Forrest Yoga

Ballard: June 22nd, July 20th

4:00 - 6:00 pm

Cost: $25, $35, or $45

This Intro to Forrest Yoga (FY) workshop will take place on the Saturday closest to the full moon each month. In the FY way we will start our practice with an intention setting ceremony: please bring a notebook and pen if you like to write things down, as well as an offering for the altar we will build together (you will be able to bring your offerings home with you afterwards). Expect breath work, specific core strengthening exercises, longer held standing poses and extended savasana with healing sound instruments.
